GAMING CHARGES

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) HAMILTON, This Day. Pleas of guilty were entered in the Magistrate's Court at Hamilton today by Christopher Howe Nicholson and Bryon Joseph Baumberg, who were charged with using-premises in Victoria Street as common gaming-houses. Percy Raymont Allport, charged with assisting Nicholson in using premises as a common gaming-house also pleaded guilty. Nicholson was fined £100 and costs, Baumberg £25 and costs, and Allport £5* and costs; On the application of Detective-Sergeant Thompson two gambling devices found in Nicholson's office and one in Baumberg's office were ordered to be destroyed.
