PRESENTATION AT OTAKI

Members of the Otaki Fire Brigade and friends assembled at the station on Wednesday night to make a presentation to Mr. C. (Pat) Sharp, who is shortly to be married. Superintendent Cockrell presided, and in presenting Mr. Sharp wih a brass fire screen, spoke of the services he had given, not only to the brigade, but to the town. His remarks were endorsed by Deupty Superintendent Mathie, after which Mr. Sharp replied. Several toasts were honoured.
