GREATER ARMY STRENQTH

DUBLIN, February 16.

The Government has. decided on a yearly capital expenditure of £5,500,000 on equipment for defence and stores.

It is 'intended to raise the army's present strength o| 21,000 men .to 30,000, and to organise a defensive air Iprce, anti-aircraft, and mine-sweeper s/srvices, and air and land coastal military patrols. ;
