TRANSFER TO AUSTRALIA

ESTIMATE OF £4,500,000 IN

THREE YEARS

SYDNEY, This Day.

The Canberra correspondent of the "Sydney Morning Herald" says that refugees from Europe are expected to bring £4,500,000 in new capital into Australia in the next three years.

In the last half of 1938 it is estimated that European migrants brought in £500,000.

One migrant who is coming to Australia has notified the authorities that he can transfer £20,000 to Australia at a moment's notice.
