Vennimore has been 'appointed parish priest at St. Peter's ' Anglican Church, Gonville, Wanganui. Mr. Vennimore was formerly a curate at-the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Wellington, and has been engaged in parish work, in England for several years. The induction service has been, tentatively fixed for February 21. ,£ Mr. B. C. Ashwin, who was recently appointed to the position of Secretary of the Treasury, has been appointed chairman of the Local Government Loans Board. Mr. P.
