IMPORT LICENSING

MEDICAL SUPPLIES

"Import licences for medical supplies will be granted to the full extent necessary," stated the Minister of Customs (the Hon. W. Nash) today, in referring to an inquiry concerning the effect of the policy of import selection on goods of this nature.

"To this end special instructions have been given to Collectors of Customs in regard to the issue of licences, and adjustments, where necessary, may be made in respect of licences already issued."
