REVERSALS AT FORBURY
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
CHRISTCHURCH, February 7. The board of the New Zealand Trotting Association tonight adopted the following resolution:—
"It having come to the mowledge of the association that there was a very great discrepancy between the respective performances of the horses Parisienne and Lucky Jack in the Dunedin Cup Handicap on the first day of the Forbury Park Trotting Club's Summer Meeting and their respective performances in the Metropolitan Handicap, on the second day of the same meeting, 'the association :is of . opinion that aa inquiry should be held for the purpose of ascertaining the reason for such discrepancies and suggests the advisability of the Forbury Park Trotting Club holding such inquiry; but. if it prefers not to do so, the association proposes to hold one, as at present there is a very strong feeling that the respective performances were so .inconsistent as to justify tHose : concerned being called upon to give'an explanation of the discrepancies." ■-:
