CITY MISSIONER

APPOINTMENT MADE

The board of trustees of the Wellington City Mission,, folio wing a tneeting last night, announced the appointment by the Bishop of Wellington, the Rt. Rev- H. St. Barbe Holland, of-the Rev. Harry Squires, St. Columbia Vicarage, Grey Lynn, Auckland, to the position of missioner.

Mr. Squires is expected to take up his new duties about May 1.

The position of acting City Missioner has been filled during the past twelve months by Mr. N. C. K. Titchener. He will leave Wellington at the end of February to enter St. John's College, Auckland, to further his studies for the ministry.

The previous missioner was the late Rev. T. Fielden Taylor. '
