MIDGET-CAR RACING
Midget-car racing will be introduced at the Kilbirnie Stadium; "on Saturday, February 18. The sport will be started here on a. much more elaborate scale than has been seen,previously in the Dominion. Mr. %X D. Eyllan, director of the. Western: Springs .Speedway, Auckland, has been 'engaged to arrange for the introduction of the sport, and some world-renowned driVers are to compete at the opening meeting.^Mid-get-cars can reach .an amazing speed and it is anticipated that the sport will take* on in Wellington.
