MERCANTILE LEAGUE

A win by an innings and 50 runs was gained by a G grade colts Mercantile League team in a matcbh against the i Rest yesterday at Wakefield Park. Colts batted first, and scored 339 (C. Berg 104 retired, N. Williams 95). Bowling for the Rest, Torrington took foixr for 84 and F. Law two for 32.

In their first innings, the Rest made 208 (F. Law 80, Alexander 41). I. May took six for 64 for the Colts, and E. Montgomerie two for 47. The Rest scored 81 in its secord innings (Parnell 34, M. Christie 25). Bowling for the Colts, Holz took four for 33. B. Climo two for 12, and E. Montgomerie two for 13. .
