During > the European crisis at the end of September, 1938, the price reached 147s (September 28), but throughout October the range was from 144s 5d (October. 6) to 146s 10d (October 14); for November it was from 145s 11 hd (November 8) to 150s (November 26). The range in December was 148s (December 6) to 149s 7d (December 31).
