WANGANUI, January 22.
The Wanganui rowing regatta, held on the Wanganui River on Saturday, produced exciting races and a high standard of rowing in all events. Results:—
Maiden Fours, Open.—Star, 1; Union, 2; Petone, 3. Lightweight maidien fours: Union, 1; Star, 2; Napier, 3. Junior welter fours: Star Nc. S, 1; Aramoho, 2; Wellington, a. Senior fours: Clifton, 1; Wanganui Union, 2; Napier, 3. Maiden single sculls: Wellington (T. Hegglun), 1; Union (J. Col way), 2; Aramoho (J. Fothergill), 3. Senior eights: Wanganui Union, 1; Petone, 2; Aramoho, 3. Senior single sculls: Aramoho, (C. Campbell), 1; Petone (P. Abbott), 2. Youths' fours: Union, 1; Wanganui, 2; Star, 3. Maiden double sculls: Wanganui Union, 1; Aramoho, 2. Maiden p,airs: Aramoho, 1; Star, 2; Petone, 3. Junior single sculls: Wellington (T. Hegglun), 1; Petone (K. Bos well) : 2.
