MANOR PARK CLUB

A successful one-day tourney,. conducted by R. Butters and B. Stratmore, was held at the Manor Park links yesterda. , 130 players competing. A. S. T. Butler holed in one during the day. Results were as follows: — 36-hole Medal.—A. J. Shaw 148, B. Stratmore 150, H. Black and.D. Oliver 153, T. P. Davis 157. 36-hole Handicap.—T. P. Davis (8), E. Hatch (24), and C. Acheson (22), each 141 net. Davis won on a count-back. Bogey Handicap.—S. Frankpitt, 2 up, won on a count-back from W. w Marchant. Other good scores were:—X. Stephens, H. Rendall, and J. T. Lewis, 1 up; D. J. Oliver, A. L. Rollings, A. E. Tait, and T. P. Davis, all square. The stableford was won by J. Forbes, 35, on a count-back from R. Browne. Players to score 34 points were J. G. Hughes. R[ H. Williamson, and H: Morris.

Similar tourneys will be- held at Miramar on Sunday, and at Karori the following weekend.
