AUSTRALIAN GLASS COMPANY.

The Australian Glass Manufacturing Company has informed shareholders of a proposal, to be submitted at an extraordinary general meeting, changing the name of the company to "Australian Consolidated Industries, Ltd."

A meeting was held in the Labour Hall. Petone, on Friday evening to make preliminary arrangements for a welcome to Sisters R. Shadbolt and I. Dodds, when they visit the Hutt Valley in the near future. Arrangements were drawn up to give a public welcome to the nurses in the Labour Hall, Petone, on a date to be fixed when their itinerary is known.
