BIG RIVER MINE.

Big River reports for the week ended January 19:—No. 5 level, north stope: Stoping continued with one shift. North stope, south end: Filling commenced. Winze: Sunk 3ft for week; total, 13ft. Stone across bottom of winze. No. 6 level: Testing with crosscut to east at face. Battery; Sixty-two tons of stone sent to battery since mine reopened after holidays.
