PAREMATA BOATS
VISIT TO AUCKLAND
Four of the Paremata'Boating Club's centreboard yachts, with their crews, are to compete in the Ponsonby Cruising Club's Cup Day at Auckland next Saturday and in the Auckland Anniversary Day regatta next Monday. The yachts are the 14ft square-bilge boats Putorino, Lois, and Kuini, and the Takapuna boat.Twink, .
Representatives of the Ponsonby Cruising Club attended ihe Easter regatta at Paremata last year,: and it is hoped to have some northern yachtsmen there this year, and to have an annual. exchange of visits.,
The members of the.Paremata Boating Club who are accompanying the yachts to. Auckland are:—Putorino, W. Perry, G. Fisher, and A. Milton; Lois, W. Corrin, E. .Trevithick, and J. McIlraith; Kuini, A. Stirling, L. J. O'Keefe, and J. G. Holmes; Twink, J. Burrow, A. Fisher, and W. Montgomery.
The boats were to be sent to Auckland today, arid the crews will leave on Thursday.
