MONDAY'S REGATTA

OFFICIALS APPOINTED

The Wellington Provincial Yacht and Motor-boat Association ,will conduct a regatta on Monday, Anniversary Day. Officials will be as follows:—

Chairman, Mr. A. G. Harvey; secretary, Mr. I. Kirk; treasurer, Mr. J. Holmes; starter, judge, and timekeeper, Mr. G. H. Tanner; handicappers, Mr. N. Blair (keel yachts), Mr. S. Reid (centre-board yachts); racing secretary, Mr. H. Stutter; committee, Messrs. Tanner, A. Robson, C. McMillan, and R. Quill.

The first race, which will start at 10.30 a.m., will be for the "T" Class yachts, and at intervals of from ten minutes to fifteen minutes, races for the "X.H.N." and "E" Classes, "A" and' "B" Class keelers, "I" Class, "Z" Class and "Q" Class will follow till 11.20 a.m. There will then be a break till 1.30 p.m., when a race for speedboats wiir be conducted. A launch race will be held at 2 p.m. and further yacht races will follow. Courses for the speedboat and launch races will be decided" on the day. ,
