In the Sheffield Shield match a^amsß New South Wales, South Australia in their first innings scored 349 for four, declared (Whittington 59, Bradman 135 not out, Badcbck'9B). New South Wales's first innings realised £46 and their second 156 for five at stumps <Grimmett two for 51). Souttl Australia won on the first-timings. Bradman, by scoring his sixth successive century in first-class cricket; equalled C. B. Fry's -woria record established in 1901. .
