NORTHLAND MIDSUMMER SHOW.

The Northland Horticultural Society's Midsummer Show, which is to be held at St. Anne's Hall, Northland, next Saturday, will be officially opened at 7.45 p.m. by Mrs. C. C. S. Stewart, M.P. As Northland usually has late seasons, the show is being held somewhat earlier this year and all the midsummer favourites will be seen at their best, namely, gladioli, hydrangeas, dahlias, sweet peas, 'and other cut flowers in season. The decorative work at Northland is always a feature as well as the vegetables. Entries close at the hall at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
