RAPID INCREASE
PRODUCTION OF PLANES

RUGBY, December 21,
The Air Minister, Sir Kingsley Wood, stated in the House of Commons today that during 1938 the monthly rate of aircraft production was more than doubled, and it was still showing a marked upward trend. He added that this greatly-improved position would be further improved in 1939. '
