RECORD CHRISTMAS MAILS IN BRITAIN
LONDON, December 22
Christmas mails this year are at a record level, 400 per cent, above normal and 5 per cent, above last year's total of 147 tons. Eight million letters were dispatched last month from England to South Africa and Australia.
