EIGHT INJURED
TWO CARS COLLIDE
(By Telepcraph—Press Association.)' AUCKLAND-, Thi& Day. Three adults and five children were
injured, though none ..seriously* when two motor-cars collided at ari intersection in" Epsom at about 8 o'clock this morning. A baby, aged four weeks, and another child were admitted to .hospital. Five others were treated in the casualty department.
The driver of the larger car, Cedric Sparks, -23, miner, employed at the Glen Afton collieries, received a lacerated hand and a cut on the face^ With him were Eileen Douglas, 18* who suffered from shock, Winifred! Douglas, 11, lacerations to the leg, and Ivy Douglas, 8, concussion and head injuries. The last-named : is in; hospital. The other car was driven by Jack Dunbier,, 32T, traveller, Auckland, who had with him his. wife, and son, aged three, and a baby boy,'aged four weeks. The last-named is in hospital suffering from concussion and shock.
