MAY HAVE TO RESIGN

PREMIER OF ONTARIO

HEART TROUBLE RECURS

TORONTO, December 21.

A recurrence of heart trouble threatens to cancel a trip to Australia planned by the Premier of Ontario, Mr. Mitchell Hepburn.

An Ontario Liberal Party caucus today named the committee which is to endeavour to remove the differences between Mr. Hepburn and the Domin- /

ion Prime Minister, Mr. Mackenzie King, but his illness may force Mr. Hepburn to resign instead. Physicians are reserving their decision upon a suggestion by Mr. Hepburn that he resign the Premiership and sail for Australia to recruit his health.
