These well-known flowers have the great drawback of being so brittle that all the lateral, growths get broken off

The recentlyintroduced variety, "Early Klohdyke, Orange Flare/^s a distinct break from the white, pink, or red forms of the older varieties. ' It. is very free flowering, of a vivid orange shade, and grows.from 2ft to Sfttalli with light green foliage. Not growing so tall as the older sorts, it is not so difficult to manage, and the blooms are particularly use* ful as cut flowers.
