MEETING AT PETONE

Another of its series of popular evening sports meetings was held: by the Petone Amateur Athletic Club, on the Petone Oval last evening. As usual, the programme catered for- both cyclists and athletes, and the contests provided some interesting fare. ■■■■■''.:■ The Wellington provincial women's sprint champion, Miss J: Cramp ton. a member of the Petone Club, was in good form, winning the women's 75 yards and 100 yards. R. Ulmer, the Empire Games representative, won the three-quarter mile and one mile senior cycle events,, but the main cycle race, the five miles points event, was won by J. Wilson, with T.
