MORE LAND GIVEN

LIGHTHOUSE RESERVE AT

BARING HEAD

A gift of an additional forty-two and a half acres to the lighthouse reserve at Baring Head has been made by Mr. E. nL. Riddiford, who previously gave the Marine Department the land on which the lighthouse and buildings now stand.

The Minister of Marine (the Hon. P. Fraser) has written to Mr. Riddiford expressing his appreciation of the gift of the extra land and of the practical interest shown by Mr. Riddiford in the Department's activities at Baring Head.
