RELIGIOUS SERVICES. LECTURE ON BIBLE TRUTH (God willing), T O/.0.F. HALL, ALLEN STREET (opp •*-• Paramount, Courtenay Place), SUNDAY, at 7 p.m. Subject: "THE SIGNIFICANCE OF ZIONISM." "WHEN THE LORD SHALL BUILD UP ZION HE SHALL APPEAR IN HIS GLORY." (Psa. 102:16.) Last Sunday evening many people m Wellington saw evidence of "the outstanding work being accomplished in the rehabilitation of Palestine by the Jews" and "the wonderful change that has taken place in Palestine in the last twenty years" in the film, "Land of Promise," which was shown in the Regent Theatre, when Dr. Benzion Shein, of Jerusalem, also spoke on the subject. The object of our lecture this week is to show that this latter-day "wonderful change" m Palestine is in perfect accord with Bible prophecy,-which also reveals — j (1) THAT Palestine is on the eve of a terrible invasion by a confederacy of European nations. (Eze. 38, Eze. 39: 1-16, Dan. 11:40-45, Joel 3:1-2, Zech. 14:1-2, Jer. 30:4-7.) (2) THAT this invasion will result in the manifestation of the Jewish Messiah - Jesus Christ —when the Jews will literally "look upon Him whom they have pierced and they shall mourn for Him as- one mourneth for his only son." (Matt. 23:37-39, Eze. 38:20. Dan. 12:1, Zech. 14:3, Zech, 13:6, Zech. 12:9-14, Matt. 24:30.) (3) THAT the Throne of David will then j be restored in Jerusalem to be occupied by Jesus Christ the coming "King of the Jews." (Eze. 21:25-27, Amos 9:11. Luke 1:30-33, Matt. 2:6, Isa. 9:6-7, Jer. 23:5-6, Jer. 33:15, Hosea 3: j 4-5. Jer. 30:9.) (4) THAT the scattered and afflicted Jewish nation will then be restored to "The Land of Promise" where, under the rulership of Jesus Christ, it is destined to become the greatest nation j upon earth—"l will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame." (Eze. 37: 21-22, Isa. 43:5-6, Jer. 31:10-11, Jer. 31:27-28, Eze. 20:33-44, Zeph. 3:11-20, Jer. 33:9, Zech. 8:23, Micah 4:6-8, Isa. 60:12-22.) (5) THAT the rise of the Jews will mean the fall of the Gentiles for Christ's Jewish Kingdom in Palestine is to be extended to embrace the whole world —"The Lord shall be King over all the earth." (Luke 21:24, Dan. 2:44, Hag. 2:22, Rev. 11:15, Psa. 2:8-9, Zech. 9: 9-10, Zeeh. 14:9, Acts 17:31, Rev. 19: 15-16, Matt. 6:10, Psa. 72, Isa. 2, Isa. 11, etc.) "AND THEY (THE JEWS) SHALL BE LED AWAY CAPTIVE INTO ALL NATIONS AND JERUSALEM SHALL BE TRODDEN DOWN OF THE GENTILES UNTIL THE TIMES OF THE GENTILES BE FULFILLED." (JesusLuke 21:24.) Questions invited. No collection. If unable to attend, write "Bible Truth," c/o above Hall, for Free Literature. /^OUC^v £JITY TEMPLE ("*( j« «\tl\ Lome Street.
