MIRAMAR CLUB
About 130 members of tbe Miramar Club attended the official closing day on Saturday. The mixed bogey handicap was won by Mrs. Marsden and K. Mooney, who finished 1 up. ~ , ' *«_ There was a large attendance at the presentation of prizes. , M _ The president of the club, Mr. A. E. Mabin, in reviewing a successful and Kappy season, congratulated H. A. Black upon having at last won the club's senior championship.l Black had been runner-up five times in the past, but this was the first year he .had succeeded. It only showed the virtue of perseverance, said the president. He also congratulated J. S. Hiddleston, the runner-up for the senior championship. ' . The prizes won during the year were presented by Mrs. D. R. Richmond, wife of the captain of the club.
