ANTI-NAZI ACTIVITIES SUSPECTED

POLICE ALARMED

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received December 1, 11.30 a.m.)

LONDON, November 30

The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says that the secret police, being alarmed by signs of dissatisfaction, arrested throughput Germany 50 persons who were prominent in political life before the Nazi Party came into power, and who are likely to be charged with "preparing high treason by encouraging "workers' grousing campaigns." Those arrested include Dr. Luppe, former Lord Mayor of Nuremberg, Herr Franz Kunstler, former chairman of the Social Democratic Party, Dr. Herman Brill, and Herr Otto Brass, former Social Democratic deputies.

Most of those arrested were previously in concentration camps.
