ST. MARK'S SCHOOL

BAZAAR AND ENTERTAINMENT

For over twenty years the annual bazaar and children's entertainment of St. Mark's Church School has been building up a tradition of its own as a red-letter day for children, and parents, and, year by year, a longer list of ex-pupils. It has altered very little in its main impressions—impressions of small fresh-faced children on their best behaviour and very conscious of the special holiday; of young performers, cheerful, and strenuously bent upon their items; parents relaxed into holiday mood; and well-stocked stalls surrounded with chatter and bustle.

Yesterday's bazaar at St. Mark's was opened by Mrs. Sprott, who seldom fails to attend any of the school's functions. She was wearing an anklelength frock and coat of black wool georgette with a cluster of white flowers at the throat and a small black hat finished with eire ribbon.
