Lady Reed is a Wellington visitor to Auckland, where she is staying at the Central Hotel. The Hon. Mr. Justice Northcroft and Mrs. Northcroft will arrive in Wellington tomorrow and are returning to Christchurch on Saturday morning. • Mr. and Mrs. Geoffrey Kemp are visiting Wellington for the Hardwicke-j Smith—Kemp wedding today, and are the guests of Dr. and Mrs. C. Gordon Kemp, Hankey" Street. Mrs. C. N. Draper, Dunedin, who has been visiting Auckland, passed through Wellington today on her return to the south. The Misses Van Staveren are spending a holiday in Auckland. They are staying at the Station Hotel. Miss M. Morrow, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs. H. O. Bunny, "Waipipi," Masterton. Mrs. W. Carson, Remuera, returned to Auckland yesterday after an extend-1 ed visit to Christchurch, Wellington, and Taumarunui. Mrs. I. E. Cameron, Masterton, who has been" spending the winter in Tauranga, is staying in Wellington for a short period before returning to Masterton. Miss Diana Russell, who returned by the Awatea this week after six months' absence from New Zealand, will leave for the South Island tonight on a visit to her parents in Dunedin. Miss Ruth Lovell, New Plymouth, left Wellington yesterday by the Arawa for England. She was accompanied to Wellington by Miss Mollie Lovell. Mrs. E. M. Marshall, Hastings, who has arrived in Wellington after an extensive tour of New South Wales and Queensland, is returning to Hawke's Bay at the end of the week. Miss Barbara Paterson, Ngaio, who has been on holiday in Auckland, returned to Wellington and left by plane j for the South Island. Mr. and Mrs. D. Buchanan, LansI downe, have returned from a visit to Taupo. Mrs. H. Hawthorne (president of the Wellington Province Executive of the W.D.F.U.) is leaving by the Mariposa on December 12, to pay a three months' holiday visit to her son in Hawaii. Miss Betty Clarke, Hataitai, who has been visiting Auckland as the guest of Miss Freda Warnock, returns home tomorrow. Mrs. C. Campbell Heard, The Terrace, Lansdowne, Masterton, is visiting Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Ornberg, Paraparaumu, arrived in Christchurch yesterday to attend the wedding of Mrs. Ornberg's son, Mr. Lawrence Mcßae, to Miss Halmai Loughnan which takes place to-day. Mrs J. Jenkin, Masterton, has returned from Wellington, where she was the guest of Mrs. S. R. Liverton, of Seatoun. Mesdames Stanley' Dultston (London), H. Mortimer (Sydney), Lewis (Dunedin), S. Humphries (Pongaroa), Chandler (Christchurch), and Misses Elaine Dorgan (Sydney) and Wilson (Wellington) are staying at the Midland Hotel. Mesdames C. A. Pinkerton (U.S.A.), Brown (Dunedin), Henry Robb and Miss Mary Robb (Edinburgh) are guests at the Hotel St. George. Mrs. T. Taylor (Dunedin) and Mrs. Connell (Eltham) are staying at the Empire Hotel.
