EARL JELLICOE FINED

Earl Jellicoe, son of the late Admiral, was summoned at the Oldham Police Court for exceeding the 30 m.p.h. speed limit with a motor and a twowheeled trailer at Blackwater on Or tober 5, He sent a letter apologising fox his absence, stating that he was engaged at Cambridg University. It was stated that the car and trailer travelled p.t 54-56 m.p.h. A fine of £2 was imposed, with endorsement of licence.
