At 1.15 a.m. today, Mr. L. E. Ridler, of 11 Waiwetu Road, Lower Hutt, was awakened by the noise-of an intruder in the house. On investigation no one was found on the premises, but the front door was open, and a china vase, valued at about 12s 6d, was missing.
C. W. Price and Co., 91 Dixon Street, will sell unredeemed pledges in the mart on account of J. W. Batten, Ltd., on Thursday next, commencing at 10.30 ajn.
