AMERICAN PROPOSAL
ADMJSSION OF 81,000 REFUGEES
WASHINGTON, November 17,
The Secretary of Labour, Miss Frances Perkins, announced, today that the State Department was considering a proposal to admit 81,000 refugees from Germany by mortgaging the regular quota three years in advance.
