COST TO WHEAT FARMERS
SYDNEY, November 18.
Wheat exporters declare that the removal of the preference on Australian wheat will cost local growers £1,250,000 this year. Thus the Australian grower will be compelled to lean still more heavily on the Government. America, on the other hand, would become a hot competitor because of her surplus of subsidised wheat.
