LIBYAN PROVINCES
PROCLAMATION IN ROME
ROME, October 26,
A communique issued by the Fascist Grand Council states that the Council, after examining the situation in Libya, had proclaimed that the four provinces of Libya should now become part of the national territory instead of ranking as a colonial possession. A statute defining Libya's new status will be drawn up at the next meeting of the Council.
