JERUSALEM, October 26. Five Arabs were killed in extensive army operations north of Nazareth, the Arab village of Miar, in the Haifa district, being demolished as punishment for sniping and damaging roads. The British force in Palestine at present totals 18,500 officers and men. Permits are to be allotted to a maximum of 4870 foreign immigrants, mostly Jews, during the six months ending March 31, 1939.
