BLUFF RATES INCREASED
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
INVERCARGILL, October 26.
Following the lead of most other boards in New Zealand, the Bluff Harbour Board decided this evening to increase the wharfage dues by 10 per cent, from November 1. The increase is to meet the excess of estimated expenditure over. estimated revenue, the excess being £3740. There will be no increase in shipping charges, the higher levy affecting only cargo handled at the port. YOUR TROUBLES ARE OVER! No trouble now to get the kiddies to take *their milk!
