DOG'S DEVOTION.

Lucille Ball was forced to ride home from the Al. Hall ranch recently in borrowed;, pyjamas and a bathrobe, when Hall's 150-pound Great Dane, Lady, knocked her into the swimming pool in a. brand-new outfit of formal clothes. Miss Ball was dressed to attend a cocktail party and dinner, and was strolling around the pool when the dog spotted her. In his joy at seeing her, the dog hurled himself at her, and tumbled her into the water. It was necessary for the young screen star, who' is playing lead in RKO Radio's "The Affairs of Annabel," to return to her. home for a new outfit of clothing.
