A BUSY ACTOR.
Between stage and screen work, the eteran actor, Walter Huston, who )oks nothing like the 54 years he wns to, has little time to relax. His ivourite pastime is "lazing" at, his >vely mountain lodge overlooking ake Arrowhead, in the San Bernadino [ountains, almost a mile above sea >vel. His home is built of rough tountain stone, knotty pine and •immed and untrimmed logs—typical t the man whose favourite roles are lose of the rough-hewn Abraham Lin)ln and Sam Dodsworth. The Huston arae is conducive to relaxation but the lergetic actor has a busy and intersting time chopping wood, carpenterig, and doing odd jobs around the state. Mrs. Walter Huston is the >rmer Nan Sutherland, also of the age, whom he married in 1931. They re a delightful couple and it is typical : both that they dislike the ostentaon of Hollywood, preferring the com.jrtable mountain lodge, friendly dogs, vast open fireplaces, a small swimming pool, and vistas of rolling mountains to the palatial emptiness of many of the homes of other stars.
