Steamed Romney Pudding.—A wholes meal suggestion: 6 level tablespoons wholemeal flour, 2 tablespoons butter (melted), 2 tablespoons black currant jam, 2. tablespoons honey, £ teaspoon soda-, 1 tablespoon milk. Mix all well together, and half-fill a greased pudding basin with the mixture. Place buttered paper on top, secure, and steam quickly for two hours. Serve with vanilla or lemoncustard sauce.
