ALICETOWN WOMEN'S CLUB
Mrs. V. Vinsen presided at a recent meeting of the Alicetown Women's Club.
To mark the inauguration of the "Best Flower in my Garden" competition an appropriate talk on gardening was given by Mrs. Turner, of Belmont Women's Institute.
The singing circle, conducted by Mrs. Gibson Young, rendered a bracket of well-chosen items, and much appreciated solos were given by Mrs. Morgan. A humorous play was read by members of the drama circle, those taking part being Mesdames Vinsen, Bathurst, Hart, McCallum, Simon, Henry, and Kay.
