Although the gloom of the last few weeks on the stock and share market has lifted, hopes of an all-round recovery have not been fulfilled. Depressing factors regarding industrials include ignorance of the Government's re-armament plans and the methods of financing, with the possibility of a limitation of profits. The effects of the crisis are receding; but nervousness over Germany's colonial ambitions explains the sluggishness, of gold mine shares. . The ■ commodity markets tended downward.
