CAR OVERTURNS
When the car in which he was travelling skidded and overturned on shingle on the Johnsonville Road at 6.35 p.m.-yesterday, Mr. R. Battersby, retired, 86 Pitt Street, Wadestown, received slight scalp wounds. The Free Ambulance was summoned, but he was able to return home.
Knocked down by a motor-car outside the Kilbirriie Kinema, Bay Road, on Saturday, lan Waterhouse, aged 6, '32 Onepu Road, received a fractured left thigh, a scalp wound, and shock. The Free Ambulance took him to hospital. ,
