FRENCH AIR FORCE
5000 PLANES
AIM OF HIGH COMMAND
PARIS, October 21,
The creation within two years of a French air force of 5000 planes is now the aim of the High Command, states the Air Minister, M. La Chambre.
Factories have already increased their production by, one-third, compared with last year. By the spring production will have reached the required scale. If that is insufficient compared with neighbouring countries, it can be doubled. It is more a question of finance than of industry.
