V.M.C.A. TRAVEL CLUB
Those who attended this week's meeting of the Y.W.C.A.-Y.M.C.A. Travel Club were called upon to identify spices, curries, and other Eastern foodstuffs, which were made up in small calico bags. This competition was won by Miss J. Bailey.
A short travel picture of Venice was screened on the. Y.M.C.A.'s new sound projector, following which the main address of the evening was given by Mr. Leon Goetz. Mr. Goetz spoke about the peoples and customs of the various places of the East Indies— Batavia, Surabaya, Bali, Macassar, and Java.
