N.Z. MEAT IN LONDON
.-The frozen lamb market in London is,, slightly easier on the continued heavy supplies oi home-killed, according to the weekly report received by the New. Zealand Meat Producers' Board.' The market for wethers and ewes is weaker owing to heavier supplies and poor demand. Frozen beef is meeting with good demand at the higher prices. Chilled beef prices are firmer on the lighter supplies. Light and medium-weight New Zealand porker pigs are unchanged. Heavyweights are slightly easier. For baconers. the market is quiet and unchanged. The new season's arrivals of boneless 'bobby veal are meeting with steady demand, with prices unchanged. The board advises that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of the goods sold on Thursday. Chilled beef prices are averages of the week. All prices are on the basis of delivered to Smithfield Market. Prices for the previous week are given in ■.parentheses:-^ ■ .
