ARBITRATION COURT

SECOND TRIBUNAL TO GO

It is not the intention of the Second Court of Arbitration to continue after November 22, at which date the term for which it was appointed will expire.

In making this announcement last night, the Minister of Labour (the Hon. H. T. Armstrong) said that now that an industrial Magistrate had been appointed the continuance of the Second Court should be unnecessary. "The one Court and an industrial Magistrate should be able to cope with the business," he added. "I am given to understand that there is any amount of very necessary work that the president of the Second Court, his Honour Mr. Justice Hunter, can be engaged upon when the Court goes out of existence."
