RATTRAY CUP
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, October 19. After the semi-finals in the New Zealand ladies' golf championship had been played, the second bogey handicap, with the second round for the Rattray Cup played in conjunction, was decided in the afternoon. The best score in the A division was that of Mrs. W. Toomey (Christchurch), 3 down. The B grade was won by Mrs. B. H. Chapman (New Plymouth); 2 up. The Rattray Cup, for the competitor returning the best aggregate in two bogey matches, was won by Miss B. Cochran (Marton). Leading scores were: Miss Cochran, first round 1 up, second round 2 down, aggregate 1 down; Miss H. Buchanan (Christchurch), 1 down 1 down, 2 down; Mrs. Glanville (Te Awamutu), 2 down, all square, 2 down; Miss J. Meuli (Hawera), 3 down, 1 up, 2 down; Mrs. J. Cliff (New Plymouth), all square, 3j down, 3 down; Miss A. Pritchard (Danneyirke), 4 down, 1 up, 3 down; Mrs. W. Toomey (Christchurch), 4 down, 1 up, 3 down.
