CLAUDE NEON MERGER
The chairman of Claude Neon Industries, Limited, reports that the scheme for merger between Claude Neon, Limited, and Claude Neon Lights (Victoria), Limited, has been ratified by approximately 97 per cent, of the shareholders of both companies. The scheme as submitted has been adopted by the boards of both operating companies. Application is being made to the Stock Exchanges of Australia for listing of the shares of the company.
Warburton Franki (Melbourne), Ltd., accounts for the four months to June 30 show a net profit of £1265. For the year ended February 28 a profit of £3912 was earned. The directors do not propose to pay a dividend for the four months, but any dividends declared next June will cover 16 months' trading. * ••-■■•••* ■■--.-•■
